I love getting to know new families! I have lots of new mommies coming up this spring and this was one of my first ones. It was so fun getting to know these guys at their maternity session and I can’t wait to meet their little bundle here in a few weeks! Enjoy this wonderful time Atkins family!

It’s been a few months since I’ve been able to photograph a gorgeous expecting mama so I was so excited for this recent session! I have lots of new mamas coming up this spring and I am really looking forward to it. I love it when women want to document their pregnancy through photography. It is such a beautiful and special time in our lives. And wowza! This mama is gorgeous! I had such a great time with these two at our session. Enjoy!
So, I had sun drenched dreams for this gender reveal but alas, it’s gloomy and freezing out today so we opted for a little corner in our bedroom today after nap time to take our photos. And by the way, waking your 2 year old up early from her nap to tell her we are going to eat ice cream in Mommy’s room was LOTS of fun! This morning we got to see our 3rd sweet little baby for the very first time on ultrasound. The third time is no less exciting than the first. It is still amazing to see their sweet, tiny features. Still amazing to watch them moving around for the first time. Still amazing that God chose me to be bear and raise this little life. I cannot wait to hold this little one in my arms.
So, without further ado, here is our gender reveal….
IT’S A BOY!!! We are so excited. Beck was thrilled and Ellie just wanted to know where her little sister would be, haha!

Last week I got to photograph this beautiful family at Buttermilk Farms Christmas tree farm for a family maternity session. This mama is gorgeous! And Oh my, cutie pie Finn. He’s gonna be such a fun big brother! I am so excited to get to meet their baby girl here in just a few weeks. I know it’s not Thanksgiving yet but doesn’t this session get you in the Christmas spirit? Enjoy!
Last week I spent a beautiful fall afternoon with this wonderful family as they wait for the newest edition to their family, baby Everett. I am so happy for you all as you add another blessing to your family. Congratulations Price Family!

I had such a great time this weekend with this gorgeous + sweet couple at our maternity session. This mama was awesome to work with. #1 she's beautiful #2 she was very adventurous! All you have to do is scroll down to see what I mean... I can't wait to see these 2 in a few weeks and meet their sweet baby girl.

Yesterday I got to meet up with a beautiful mama who had just had belly henna done. The very talented artist, Stephanie Gentry, just joined up with Open Heart Doula Service to provide this service to clients as well as belly casting. What a fun way to remember your pregnancy! We are working on a date to combine a belly henna and a mini maternity session together. Please contact me if you are interested as there will only be a few spots.
I had the best time getting to meet Stephanie and Taylor and their furry child Sophie for a maternity session this week. Stephanie is a beautiful momma (as you can see!). You guys are so much fun and I'm so excited for you! I can't wait to meet baby Hudson in a few weeks. I fully expect you guys to be expert snugglers the next time I see your family! :)

I love how they show off the beautiful lines of a pregnant woman's body. Silhouettes are such a timeless, classic way to document this stage in life. They area also a great way to capture little details in babies, children and families. Here are a few of my past silhouettes that I love...
If you know the Crawford family, I know you love them. I have been lucky enough to know them and to have gotten to serve with them in my church and their daughter is one of our favorite babysitters. So I was thrilled to photograph Sarah and her sweet bonus baby bump! Sarah is absolutely beautiful and we had such a great time catching up on life and motherhood. I am so excited for this family and can not wait to photograph this precious little one when he makes his arrival very soon! Update! You can see Sarah's newborn session here.

I feel so fortunate to get to be photographing all these beautiful pregnant women lately. I think pregnant women are so gorgeous and my friend Sarah is no exception. I met up with Sarah and her husband Marshall this weekend to document this precious time in their lives as a family. They had me cracking up our whole session. I can't wait to meet baby A here in a few weeks. Be looking for her here on the blog after she arrives when we do some newborn photos with this sweet family. Congrats Sarah and Marshall!
This past week I had the privilege to photograph the birth of a very sweet couple. I have a few photos of my both my own births and I treasure them, so I was so excited to get to photograph Chris and Ellen's big day. Ellen was a rockstar! She did so awesome and Chris was such a sweet and supportive husband during her labor. Baby Caleb is really blessed to have such wonderful parents. Congratulations Ellen and Chris! I hope you will treasure these photos as this is undoubtedly a day you will always remember. This is a HUGE post but keep going because there is a video at the end with the full birth story! Caroline and Ryan are expecting their first baby in a few weeks and I was lucky enough to get to photograph this beautiful Mama yesterday before baby Levensen arrives. They are such a fun couple and are going to make great parents! Congratulations on your first baby! They aren't finding out the sex so I'm gonna guess GIRL! and Ryan, she will be a Daddy's girl. This is my first official post so I'm so glad you've stopped by to check it out. It didn't hurt that I had a beautiful expectant mother that made my job very easy! I had such a great time getting to know Mike and Lauren during our session. They were such great sports especially since I had them trudging through the mud and weeds during our shoot!
